Hi Korg i-Series dudes, Craft Brothers from the UK here with some news

ANTHEM.TXT - "Anthem" ASCII document
Converted from an OctaMED MOD by Kevan R.Craft/MIDICraft 1996..
Email: craftbro@midicraft.demon.co.uk
OctaMED Sound Studio is a Sample and MIDI tracker/Sequening package on
the Amiga platform that is currently being re-written for the PC
platform..
Why don`t you visit the OctaMED WWW Site http://www.octamed.co.uk
** UPLOAD 2 **
Short:"Spirit of the Dance" by Kevan R.Craft (c)1996..
Type: pub/ag/agmorr/songs/
Uploader: craftbro@midicraft.demon.co.uk
Author: Kevan R.Craft
File Name: SPIRIT_D.ZIP
This SPIRIT_D.ZIP archive contains a tune I composed as a personal
tribute to an Amiga musician and friend, Rob Baxter, who sadly died
this year (March 1996)..
The song's stored here in Korg ".SNG" (SONG) format , configured for
the Korg i-Series and X-Series Music Workstations, includes ASCII
documentation listing voice and drum mapping used.. Port both the .SNG
and .PCG files to a 720K MSDOS formatted disk and load directly into
one of the i-Series and X-Series synths.. ie Korg i2/i3/i4S/i5S and
i5M or Korg X2/X3 and X3R (you`ll already know this of course)..
This file is FREEWARE and can be distributed far and wide..
(c)Copyright remains with the author..
"Spirit of the Dance" is featured in various Korg i-Series and GM
formats on a CD-ROM called "The Learning Curve" published by Weird
Science in the UK.. I was personally asked to compose and contribute a
song to Rob for this CD-ROM because it features all his Amiga musical
works released in the Amiga Public Domain which is also available via
CIX on their ftp site somewhere..
Contents of SPIRIT_D.ZIP
***********************
READ_ME.DOC - ASCII doc about the composition and how it came about..
SPIRIT.LST - ASCII list of voices and parameters used in .SNG and .MID
SPIRIT.MID - Standard MIDI File (SMF) format 1 version of song
SPIRIT.PCG - Accompanying .PCG for USER D BNK and 2 x USER KITS
SPIRIT.RDM - This ASCII readme doc..
SPIRIT.SNG - "Spirit of the Dance" in Korg i-Series .SNG format
SPIRIT.TXT - Small ASCII text identifier about the song and author

Be cool.. Kevan R.Craft/MIDICraft

** UPLOAD 3 **
Short: Official Korg i2/i3 Advertsing blurb released by Korg
Type:pub/ag/agmorr/docs
Uploader:craftbro@midicraft.demon.co.uk
Author:Korg (text) and Craft Brothers (IFF Picture)
File name:I3BLURB.ZIP
This archive contains the official advertising information relating to
both the Korg i2 and i3 Interactive Music Workstations as released by
KORG.. This was typed in as ASCII text from the Korg ProVIEW quarterly
magazine publication (Issue 6 1995) published by Korg, which features
the Korg i-Series Interactive Music Workstations..
The picture of the Korg i3 keyboard (in Amiga IFF file format) was hand
drawn/painted, using Delux Paint IV software on an Amiga A2000 computer
to accompany the ASCII text..
Maybe PC users can view the IFF image, if not, then maybe you could
convert this to GIFF or JPEG so PC users can then view the image on
their systems..
Hope this is of some use to other i-Series users and maybe actual
reference information for both users and interested parties on the
NET.. I produced the IFF pic for my MIDICraft (Disk) Magazine on the
Amiga platform for a coverpic for one of its issues.. I`m the Publisher
you see..
I3BLURB.ZIP (archive contains the following files:-)

2. KORGI3.IFF - IFF 16 colour picture of the Korg i3

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The above are the accompanying doc files for the 4 x .ZIP archives,
that I uploaded to Art's ftp site.. I've posted these readme files so
you can read them at your own leisure.. Hope you enjoy listening to the
songs and reading the info..
Email me with any comments etc..
Please take note of our WWW Home page which I previously made a mistake
with.. The WWW Home Page address below is the correct one and visitors
are welcome but remember its stll under construction and your comments,
suggestions and ideas are welcome...
(I wonder if Korg have ever thought of producing a 64 note polyphony i-
Series Workstation instead of 32? I'd buy one tomorrow!)
later
Kev..
